The short version
We use the minimum cookies needed to keep you signed in, one analytics tool, and, while our ads run, one measurement pixel from Reddit that tells us whether an ad brought you here. The content of your case is never shared with any ad platform.
What we set
- A sign-in cookie. Set when you start the checker or sign in, and it is what keeps your case attached to you as you move between pages. Without it the product cannot work.
- A preference cookie for things like light or dark mode, so the site looks the same next time.
- Analytics cookies from Microsoft Clarity. Clarity shows us anonymized recordings of how pages are used so we can find and fix the confusing parts. It runs with strict masking: what you type and the text shown on your pages is blanked before anything is stored, so your names, receipt number, and letters do not appear in recordings. We never tell Clarity who you are.
- Ads-measurement tags from Reddit and Google, only while we run ads there. They tell us that an ad led to a visit or a purchase, so we know whether the ads are worth running. Reddit and Google see that your browser visited our pages and that a purchase happened; they never see your case, your letters, or anything you type here.
The sign-in and preference cookies are strictly necessary and are not shared with anyone. Clarity and the ads tags are not used by us to build a profile of you, and we never hand any of them the content of your case.
What we do not do
- We never share the content of your case, your letters, or your receipt number with any ad platform, including Reddit and Google.
- We never sell your data, to anyone.
- No unmasked recording anywhere: the text of your case never appears in analytics, signed in or not.
If this list changes we will update this page in the same release, say exactly what was added and why, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Controlling cookies
Your browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking the sign-in cookie will sign you out and prevent your case from being saved, because there is no other way for us to know which case is yours.
